Terms of Use
About this site
All Things BLACK is a free community resource directory for Black Long Beach. It is a program of VERB Community. By using the site you agree to these terms.
What you submit
Anyone can submit a resource, event, or report. When you do, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it, including any photo you upload. You give us permission to publish what you submit on this site, to make small edits for clarity or length, and to remove it later. A community steward reviews every submission before it goes live, and we may decline or remove anything at our discretion.
Accuracy and designations
Listings come from community members and public sources. We work to keep them current, but we cannot promise that every detail is complete or up to date, so please confirm hours, prices, and availability with the organization directly. Designations such as Black-owned or Black-led are reported by the submitter and reviewed by stewards, not independently verified. You can read how they work and how to dispute one on the Designations page. Nothing on this site is professional advice, including health, legal, housing, or financial advice.
Photos and copyright
Only upload photos and text you have the right to share. If you believe something on the site is inaccurate, infringes your rights, or should come down, tell us using the “Report a Concern” link on the listing or by email at hello@verbcommunity.org. We will review it promptly and remove or correct it where appropriate.
Using the site respectfully
Please do not submit false or misleading information, spam, or anything meant to harass or harm others. Please do not try to break the site, bypass its security, or collect other people's information from it. We may block access for anyone who does.
Links to other sites
Listings often link to other websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they contain or how they handle your information.
No guarantees
We provide the site as it is, and we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
Privacy
How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
