Justice, Advocacy, and Collective Action

BLM Grassroots Long Beach is a people-powered organization committed to dismantling state-sanctioned violence in all its forms. Through grassroots organizing, we fight for housing, healthcare, mental wellness, employment, and education as fundamental rights. Our BLM Black Neighborhood Tenant Council is a tenant-led program that gathers community together monthly to learn, connect, and organize around housing justice and collective power in Long Beach. They meetings are grounded in the belief that the people most affected by housing decisions are the ones best equipped to change them. If you're a Black renter in Long Beach, or a homeowner, neighbor, or someone who believes housing is a human right, there is a seat at this table for you. Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month at a local Black business in Long Beach. RSVP at https://www.blmlongbeach.org/rsvp . . . Our Black Lives Matter, Long Beach Chapter is a local organizing effort in Long Beach, CA, in solidarity with the global, U.S.-based, Black Lives Matter Grassroots organization and movement.
